Jenn and Matt were married last week on a Wednesday.  Being it a destination wedding, it was the perfect day for a relaxing elegant wedding.  Jenn and Matt flew in from Las Vegas to get married at the Loulu Palm Estate on the North Shore of Oahu.  It is just a 5 minute drive from Turtle Bay Resort where most of their guests were staying.  This was my first time shooting at Loulu and I have to say the grounds are beautiful.  

I loved Jenn’s something blue.  

It was so hot inside, we decided to move everyone outside for Jenn’s finishing touches.  The light was perfect.  Jenn kept getting little good luck visitors, lady bugs all over her dress and veil. 

Congrats Jenn and Matt!  I hope you had a safe flight home back to Vegas.

This September has gone by so fast.  I wasn’t sure if I would keep up with the last 2 weeks, but I did!  I have 3 more weddings this year, leaving a month to wrap up everything before my baby boy arrives.  I will still be answering e-mails and album building as the picks come in, but I am going to try to take the whole month of December off to enjoy my family. 

No weddings until next week Wednesday, so I will be busy working on editing and albums until then.

I was thrilled when Kathy wrote me on facebook about being her wedding photographer.  I had attended her sister Ginny’s wedding back in 2006 and really enjoyed taking a few photos with my then super awesome Nikon D200.  As I watched their hired photographer, I thought to myself, “I can do that. and maybe better..”.  Turns out, I was right.  Now armed with a Nikon D3 and and arsenal of lenses and lighting equipment, I was happy to return to Waimea Valley for Kathy’s wedding.  

The girls got ready at their parent’s home on the North Shore.  Kathy was a total glamazon.

Kathy’s twin nieces were the flower girls.  So cute!  

In true North Shore bridal fashion, Kathy wore these Reef sandals.  I loved them. 

Congrats Kathy and Sean!  I am so glad to see you have found each other!!!!!
