I don’t think I would ever shoot a wedding on the 4th of July if I couldn’t be with my family. Lucky for me, my hubby is good friends with the groom and they were all invited! Although they left before the flapper dance and the cigarette girls handed out sparklers, it was still nice to see them playing sheriff in the fields of Kualoa Ranch and eating from the dessert buffet. Actually, I think that was all the boys ate… I was too busy shooting to mind what sweets they found! It’s my last wedding for a few weeks which will also be nice.
Many congrats to Kehau and Eric. I have known them about 8 years now and I was very honored when they asked me to be their wedding photographer. Both are school teachers by day. Eric plays the sax for Go Jimmy Go and Kehau is fluent in Spanish. She was quite the mujer hermosa in her 1920’s inspired custom wedding gown!

These are amazing Marina - love the black and white color scheme! The wedding party shots are the best/most original I’ve ever seen!!
Oh, Marina, you rock so much - I love every wedding you do even more than the last! That fish eye shot of the ceremony, her expression in that first shot … those awesomely retro formals … magnificent!! You are such a rock star!!
love these Marina!! They are very lucky to have you capture this day for them.
omg, marina! I can’t even pick a favourite picture, they are all so freaking awesome! I totally love the ones where they just stand there looking kinda dull. love’em all though!
Marina, looking at these again I am SO happy for Kehau and Eric. What an amazing day! I love the photos where they stand with straight faces. So much like a photo you would have seen in the 20s. The car was fantastic and I love that you took them down to the ruins for shots.
