young love

…is a wonderful thing.

Grace and Tom were married on a hill overlooking Kaneohe Bay and their church, where Tom is a Youth Pastor .  It was a beautiful day and I couldn’t ask for better locations.  Their reception was held at the Luana Hills Country Club.  Again, perfect spot for their celebration.  Thanks for letting me share your day with you!

xoxo, Marina

back to NY

Because I seem to have severe heart burn (damn you Pizza Hut!) and I can’t sleep, I am posting again.   As my NY wedding was a “destination wedding“, I hadn’t really ever met the bride and groom in person.  I flew in a day early and got to hang out with Tim’s side of the family.  It was a great ice breaker for the next day.  Make sure you check out my second shooter Rachel’s post of the groomsmen in Long Island.  They are some silly out takes on the wedding day!

the family bond

This past week my WHOLE family caught the nasty, nasty, just got off a ten hour flight, did you forget to wash your hands, grab a bucket quick flu.   As it came my turn to be the sickest one in the house, I realized I was helpless.  I couldn’t help anyone get a drink or get something high off of a shelf.  Lucky for me, my husband, who was about 8 hours ahead of me in the sickness, was home from work and was feeling a bit better.  As he took care of the kids, I recovered.   Dayna and Rob also have 3 kids, fun, intelligent, happy kids.  We did a family session a few weeks before Rob was deployed to the Middle East.  As I think about our ordeal this week, I wonder, who is going to help Dayna if she gets sick?  Who will relieve her for a few hours of rest?  Dayna, if you read this, please call me if you ever get the flu.  :) xoxo, Marina
