we have been back for a whole week now. i am SO glad to be back in Hawaii Nei where it is warm and i can order food whithout saying, “?????”. hahaha!
first off, i must say, our hotel was awesome. jason booked us at the shinagawa prince hotel. we knew ahead of time that it was super close to the train lines and was foreigner friendly. the only qualm i had with the hotel was the fact that they don’t allow people with tattoos into their pool. with that bit of info my children became the tattoo police, letting me and my husband know each time a bit of ink was in sight. sheesh, it is not like we are yakuza!
second, the most memorable part of our trip according to our youngest was “to-key-yo tahwer“. i think i like hearing him say it more then i liked the place. 
third, harajuku is the BEST! you can shop til you drop, check out the latest japanese fashions, see freaks of all walks of life in yoyogi park, hit snoopy town, and eat chocolate banana pizza!
the worst part of our trip was the COLD!!! it was even too cold to take photos. i never ever thought that was possible for me! at least i discovered the HOT coffee and cocoa in the vending machines everywhere. if our fingers got too cold, i would just pull out my Suica card and get us some instant heaters.
up next, we are off to San Francisco! woo hoo!!!!
