we hopped over to maui on a hawaiian air flight to spend turkey day with some family friends. we had previously attended their wedding a few years back and were happy to go visit them again. the kids were stoked on the whale shaped pool at the kaanapali beach hotel. we also hit the beach where the kids found a huge hole to play in.
as we drove back to the airport for our flight home, we stopped at a little cove and did our holiday card photos. sorry, no photos of that til christmas.

all in all, it was the perfect day. and we never ate any turkey.
